Goal 2 (SH) (DET 2 COL 0): Darren Helm (4) from Kris Draper (7) and Nicklas Lidstrom (15) at 17:56, Second Period

• Wings on ice: Helm, Draper, Lidstrom, Stuart

• HP(+): Draper (+0.5) with some good work to get the puck out of the defensive zone. Helm (+1) with a nice burst of speed to break loose and the touch (+0.5) to finally finish a breakaway.

Goal 3 (PPG) (DET 2 COL 1): Brandon Yip (2) from Darcy Tucker (7) and Matt Duchene (15) at 19:12, Second Period

• Wings on ice: Helm, Miller, Lidstrom, Stuart

• DP(-): Stuart (-0.5) doesn’t play his man all the way, instead getting turned around while looking for the puck and allowing Yip to get behind him. However, if Jimmah stays home on this one, it’s probably still a 2-0 game.

Goal 4 (PPG) (DET 2 COL 2): Brandon Yip (3) from Darcy Tucker (8) and Matt Duchene (16) at 11:59, Third Period

• Wings on ice: Helm, Maltby, Rafalski, Stuart

• DP(-): Not much here other than a nice power play goal, but if Rafalski (-0.5) doesn’t trip over Howard, he might break up the scoring pass.

Goal 5 (DET 3 COL 2): Ville Leino (4) from Derek Meech (1) and Valtteri Filppula (5) at 16:08, Third Period

• Wings on ice: Fillpula, Leino, Abdelkader, Stuart, Meech

• HP(+): Filppula (+1) for some excellent work to maintain possession and get the puck up top. Meech (+0.5) for getting the blast on net. Leino (+1) for finally breaking his drought and scoring one.

Goal 6 (SH) (EN) (DET 4 COL 2): Darren Helm (5) from Nicklas Lidstrom (16) at 19:37, Third Period

• Wings on ice: Datsyuk, Helm, Lidstrom, Stuart

• HP(+): Lidstrom (+0.5) for the assist, Helm (+1) for the empty-netter from way downtown.

Miscellaneous Points

• HP(+): Datsyuk (+1) for finally being the best player on the ice for the Wings. Lidstrom (+1) for another solid performance, highlighted with a pair of assists.
