Merry Christmas from Motown Wings!

After a day in the Florida sun, a lovely dinner with family and one too many glasses of wine, I realized that I forgot to bestow holiday wishes upon all of you out there who take the time to stop by and read this blog. Hang on, let me get some more wine and I’ll make a proper toast…

OK. Here’s to you and yours on this joyful day. May you find yourselves surrounded by good friends, good family, good times, good drinks and good memories. I also hope that the holidays serve as a reminder to all of us about how truly fortunate we are and how others may not have all of the luxuries that we do.

Speaking of charitable feelings, I’m WAY late to the party on this one, but I would please ask you to take some of those greenbacks that Santa dropped in your stocking and send them over to Abel to Yzerman. Yes, I’m asking you to go give money to the Chief, but I promise that it’s for a good cause.

Seriously, Herm is a huge Wings fan who’s never had the opportunity to even come close to experiencing something that so many of us in Red Wings nation take for granted: A trip to the Joe. Send a few bucks Herm’s way. And if your donation comes after the goal has been reached, then congratulations: Your donation just made life better for a sick child in Michigan. You can’t beat that.
