By the Numbers: Red Wings 3, Canadiens 2 (SO)
November 24th, 2009 | by Chris Hollis |As I mentioned, I spent the early part of Saturday watching football and drinking beer, then proceeded to go hang out with some friends at the Irish pub in the first floor of my apartment building before heading back to the same bar I watched football at all day to catch the Wings game. Pretty spectacular day if you ask me.
What was not spectacular was watching the Wings grab a two goal lead after Niklas Kronwall’s knee got decimated, only to watch Michael Cammalleri erase it all by himself. Thank the Good Lord we were able to pull it out in the shootout, otherwise I might have been nothing more than a blubbering mess the rest of the evening.
