I have to admit, I've been admiring the Canucks since the beginning of the season even though they haven't been winning a lot. The thing that I was happy to see was the defense that the Wings were able to play. That's really stuck out to me since the beginning of the season. I'm not talking about Howard, but he did play well. What I'm talking about is in the first period when Vancouver was taking a bunch of shots. Most of the shots were from the outside of the rink and could easily be stopped by Howard. They did a really good job keeping the puck out of the slot. And they got better at getting the puck out of the zone as the game went on, so I'm not to worried about that. I was a little nervous about this game before it started.
